BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Growing and international industry leader in delivering technical solutions to promote sustainable world class infrastructure to communities throughout the world is seeking to hire a Business Development Manager.? This individual will focus on increasing sales by pursuing and securing new business opportunities within North America. ?This individual will need to have the ability the find the prospective customer decision makers. This is also a newly created position and will be located in Greer, SC.

?

The position of Business Development Manager is a salaried position with an orientation to doing what it takes to achieve the desired results. ?Time devoted to travel is estimated to be approximately 20%.? Our company provides a comfortable office environment with all the equipment necessary to achieve the desired results.?

Job Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

? Research new business opportunities

? Interact with customers to promote the company products and services

? Help the customer define the best product solution for their application

? Coordinate customer specific product engineering and manufacturing efforts

? Ensure customer satisfaction with the goal of long-term customer retention

? Coordinate trade show activities

? Coordinate major marketing efforts

? Manage marketing/advertising resources Skills

? Excellent consultative selling skills including presentation skills

? Able to communicate and cooperate as part of the greater company team

? Ability to strategically analyze the market for company?s products

? Technical familiarity with electrical control systems and thermal management products

? Ability to understand technical specifications and drawings

? Proficiency with Microsoft Office is necessary and proficiency with ERP systems would be a plus

?

Experience

The Business Development Manager should have at least 5 years of experience successfully

selling electrical control products or temperature controlled products to OEM?s ?and

distributors in North America.

Education

The appropriate candidate should have at least a bachelor?s degree from an accredited four

year college or university. A preference will be given to those candidates with an engineering

degree and/or an MBA
